“Ever since I could pick up a crayon I have been drawing. This passion continued all throughout my childhood - I remember being in my school classes scribbling away like crazy onto the margins of my notebook! During the same time in my young childhood I became obsessed with art I had another obsession that has also continued with me into adulthood, and that is my love of fantasy - mermaids in particular. I have been drawing on and off all throughout my life, but only until about 3 years ago I discovered watercolor. Immediately I fell in love and continued to dabble with different types of subject matter - mainly focusing on nature and animals.

I am completely self taught - the only art classes I have ever taken were required ones during my childhood in school. I want people to feel happy when they see my art. I like my paintings to be very colorful, whimsical and fun - I feel these adjectives describe my personality and I want that expressed through my artwork.”
