Bruce Fifer

Bruce Fifer moved to the Greenwood area in 1999 from Virginia to take on the responsibilities of overseeing the ROTC Programs at Lander University, Presbyterian College, and Newberry College. After he retired in 2005 he accompanied a friend who recently received a wood lathe to a pen making class. He fell in love with the wide variety of materials that can be used to make handcrafted pens. He is especially drawn to the unique wood grains available and to unusual materials like pine cones and corn cobs! Bruce also works part-time at Pathway House, where he manages the woodshop where our Pathway House bread boards are made!
