Jeannie Gambill

A maker, learner, and creative wanderer all her life, Jeannie Gambill finds inspiration from the richness of the natural world, especially from the Appalachian mountains where she grew up, and the beauty of life off the beaten path.  Trained as a theatre educator, she has years of experience as a director and designer. That love of the arts she now brings to her work as a mixed media artist and maker of all things. She creates to make sense of the world, to share joy, and to express love for others. Jeannie is especially enamored with paper and explores ways to incorporate that medium in bookbinding, collage, jewelry, and the creative use of vintage ephemera.
